My name is Carlos Chulo. I am a software engineer based in San Diego, California, with 8 years of experience. I started my career out of college in the semiconductor industry and now work in biotech. My lifelong passion is computer science, especially computer graphics, game development, computer architecture, compilers, low-level programming, hardware hacking, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
Outside of work I like late-night walks, hiking, and listening to music. I've been visiting Japan at least once a year since 2018. My favorite anime are Eureka Seven, Fullmetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, and Cowboy Bebop, and my favorite game series is Resident Evil.
